Direct primary care is not health insurance and does not replace it; we recommend keeping insurance, Medicare, or a health-sharing plan for hospital and specialist care.
Direct primary care is a flat-fee relationship with your family doctor. It covers everyday primary care — not hospitals, surgery, or specialists. Nevada law (NRS 429A) requires us to make this clear, and we want to: please keep your health insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, or a health-sharing plan for everything outside of routine care.
