A note from Dr. Mark

After more than a decade in primary care, I'm building the kind of practice I'd want for my own family — and I'd love for yours to be part of it.

For the past several years I've cared for many of you and your families — and along the way I've felt the same frustration you have. Visits that ran shorter than they should. Wait times that ran longer than they should. A system that often left both of us watching the clock instead of one another.

This summer, that changes. I'm leaving my current practice on June 19, 2026, taking the rest of the summer to set things up properly, and opening Mark Family Health in August at a new home in southwest Las Vegas.

I'm opening a practice of my own — and I'd love you to join me.

Her story

Sixteen years from Reno to her own front door.

2010
Reno
Earned my undergraduate degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Neuroscience at the University of Nevada, Reno. Decided I wanted to spend my life in clinic, not a lab.
2014
Touro University Nevada
Completed my Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. The osteopathic side of training shaped how I think about the whole patient — not just a chart of complaints.
2017
Valley Hospital
Finished residency at Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas. Board certified in Family Medicine and OMT through the American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine.
2017–2026
Building a panel
Years of clinic days across the Las Vegas valley — most recently at Dignity Health's Henderson Primary Care Clinic. I've come to know hundreds of families. Many of you have been with me through diagnoses, deliveries, losses and milestones.
2026
Mark Family Health
Opening my own doors. Same doctor — fewer patients, more time, and a practice designed around the relationship rather than around billing codes.
About direct primary care

A different financial arrangement with your doctor.

Direct primary care is a model that's been quietly growing in the United States for two decades. The simple version: you pay your doctor directly, and your doctor works for you.

— 01

It works on a membership

You pay a flat monthly fee directly to the clinic — and that fee covers your visits, messaging, and most of the everyday care most patients need. No co-pays at the door, no surprise statements in the mail. The relationship is between you and your doctor, not between your doctor and an insurance claim.

— 02

It's separate from insurance

Direct primary care is not insurance, and we do not bill it — ever. Membership is the only way care is paid for here. Many members choose to carry a separate plan or Medicare on the side for hospital care, specialists, and emergencies, but that stays entirely between you and your insurer. It has nothing to do with your relationship with Dr. Mark.

— 03

You actually get access

Expedited or next-day visits when you need them. A direct number you can text. Forty-five-minute appointments instead of fifteen. Because the panel is intentionally smaller, the math works: the doctor has time for you, the way medicine used to work.

— 04

The pricing is what it says

Flat monthly membership, billed directly to the clinic. No facility fees, no add-ons, no per-visit billing. Specific rates are still being finalised — we'll publish them well ahead of the August opening.

The transition

What's changing, and what isn't.

What stays the same

  • 01The same doctor you already know
  • 02The same careful, unhurried approach to your visits
  • 03Continuity of your care plan and history
  • 04The same emphasis on whole-family care

What's new

  • 01A smaller patient panel — more time for each of you
  • 02A direct number you can text Dr. Mark
  • 0345-minute visits as the standard, not the exception
  • 04Clear monthly pricing instead of co-pays and statements

What you should do

  • 01Reserve a welcome visit for August using the form below
  • 02Keep your insurance — it still covers hospitals & specialists
  • 03Request your records be sent to Mark Family Health when you're ready
  • 04Tell a family member who you'd want her to care for too
In her own words

“I went to medical school because I wanted to know my patients well — and to do my best work for them. Mark Family Health is the practice that lets me actually do that.
